MDOT Road Base is a state spec mixture of gravel and sand, has little to no clay. It is built structurally to go under roads and buildings. Good for a driveway that will be paved. 2800 lbs/yard
Crushed asphalt is recycled asphalt that crushed down to ¾”. If done right it can turn any driveway into the next best option to a asphalt driveway, at about a 10th the cost. It does require some heavy equipment. Let us know if you would like a bid. 2500 lbs/yard
